Merle Marie Alguire-Johansen, a longtime resident of Black Diamond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the age of 70 years.
Merle is lovingly remembered by her family: mother, Iris Marie Alguire; husband, Terry; her children and grandchildren; her brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Come & Go Celebration of Merle’s Life will be held at the Griffiths Senior Centre, 122 Government Road, Black Diamond, AB on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merle’s memory to Pound Rescue, PO Box 1446, Okotoks, AB, T1S 1B4.
