HIGH RIVER, AB: Notre Dame Collegiate will be organizing a running/walking race Wednesday September 28 from 9:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. involving approximately 500 adults and students. The event is a Terry Fox run/walk fundraiser and will require some temporary lane closures and sidewalk restrictions in the northwest along High Country Drive and High Glen Place. See map below. The east bound lane of High Country Drive N.W. will be closed and the west bound lane will remain open for the duration of the race. There will be a ‘left turn only’ requirement for vehicles travelling south out of High Glen Place N.W. There will also be some parking restrictions in the area, specifically in front of Notre Dame Collegiate located at 1500 High Country Drive N.W. Volunteers and School staff will be directing traffic. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are asked to watch for signage and volunteers and use caution when travelling through the area.
