The 30th Annual High River Santa Claus Parade is just around the corner. It starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 in downtown High River. The event features a variety of family-friendly activities, live music and entertainment, craft fair, outdoor market and more!
View the map below for details on the parade route, road closures and parking restrictions. Barricades will be up by 5 p.m. prior to the start of the parade.
The theme this year is “Joy to the World.” With a full evening of activities planned, residents and visitors are encouraged to come early to take in all the sites.
“Light Up George Lane Park” will be officially ‘turned on’ prior to the parade, with ceremonies getting under way just after 5 p.m. at the entrance to George Lane Park.
The Stampede Stage will be set up on the corner of 4 Avenue and 1 Street S.W. (just north of the Museum of the Highwood). Entertainment will run from 6 p.m. until the start of the parade, and then again following the parade until 8:30 p.m.
