Assembly Standing Committee Invites Albertans to Provide Input on Ways to Grow and Diversify Alberta’s Agri-food and Agribusiness Sectors

The Legislative Assembly of Alberta’s Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future seeks input for its study on ways to grow and diversify the province’s agri-food and agribusinesses sectors.

The focus of the Committee’s study is value-added production, small business opportunities and local food production and promotion.

“Agri-food and agribusiness are important sectors in our province’s economy, and we look forward to hearing from the public on ways to strengthen and diversify these areas,” said Graham Sucha, Committee Chair and MLA for Calgary-Shaw. The Chair urges the public to participate in the discussion through written submissions to the Committee.
