Leduc, Alberta – Following an investigation into a 20-year-old male causing a disturbance on a flight bound for Edmonton, charges have been laid by the RCMP.
Yusuf Hassan of Edmonton has been charged with Mischief over $5,000 under the Criminal Code of Canada, Endanger the safety or security of an aircraft and Fail to comply with aircrew, both charges under the Aeronautics Act. Hassan remains in custody and is scheduled for an appearance in Leduc Provincial Court on September 8, 2016.
This matter is now before the courts and RCMP will not provide further information relating to this investigation.
