In October 2014, The RCMP auto theft investigators executed a search warrant at a rural property. Several saddles were seized during this operation however police have yet to identify the rightful owner of these saddles.
There is indications these saddles may have been stolen out of Saskatchewan as well as Alberta. RCMP have been canvassing other detachments and utilizing police databases to locate the owners of the remaining property, to no avail.
Some of the saddles are marked or branded with identifying characters.

If the property has not been claimed by the end of February 2015, it will be donated or disposed of.
